Prarthana joined FMT in 2013 to start their operations in the Middle East. After a successfully creating business in the middle east she moved to Scandinavia and took up the role of VP Global Sales where she focused on developing proactive business cases and value-based sales for FMTs customers. Prarthana was appointed CEO of FMT in 2021 and has been responsible for streamlining FMTs resources with customer needs and creating niche opportunities while maintaining healthy financials. FMT Sweden AB was acquired by Fernweh Group through Dabico Airport Solutions recently. FMT is a leading designer and manufacturer of customized Passenger Boarding Bridges to airports and seaports around the world.
Prior to joining FMT, Prarthana worked for 12 years in Sales and Marketing for ADB-Safegate a global player in delivering airport performance by offering unmatched capabilities in airport ground movement and visual guidance. By enabling airports to operate more safely, efficiently and sustainably, they deliver superior airport performance from approach to departure. Prarthana was part of the team in Dubai, UAE and was instrumental in closing the largest contract in Safegate at 20Million Euro.
Born in Kandy, Sri Lanka 1972, Prarthana has a bachelor’s degree in business administration and MBA from University of Sri Jayawardenpura, Sri Lanka. She lives in Hollviken, Sweden
